About us... We are Mike and Moira and as new owners we would like to tell you a little bit about us and our ideas for the future. We have always dreamed of owning a small part of France, our dream is now a reality. As a child Mike lived in several different countries and each one of these has added to his interests in food. He is now in his natural place as the chef in our restaurant. When you eat in our restaurant you will sample a variety of styles, our cuisine is predominantly French Regional (where he has been influenced by his French Grandmother) but simply cooked food with fresh natural ingredients is what we strive for. Our restaurant has come with a Hotel and four Gites which Moira is going to enjoy enhancing. She has already started with the dining room and some of the bedrooms and is planning to tackle the conservatory next. It is quite a large space, which she’s planning to turn into a beautiful garden room overlooking the river. It will aid our guests’ relaxation and enjoyment after a busy day taking in all the Ariège has to offer.
