The Restaurant

Our restaurant is open lunchtime and evenings all the year round and our bar is fully licensed so come and enjoy a drink anytime or an aperitif before your meal. We also have a well stocked wine cellar so you can have an inexpensive local wine with your meal or why not splash out and have a fine Bordeaux or Burgundy..

The cuisine is typically French Regional; we endeavour where possible to use fresh and locally sourced produce, and some ingredients are straight from our garden.
A typical half board menu is:
Entrées a choice of
- Soupe de Pomme de Terre et Poireau (home made leek and potatoe soup) veg
- Assiette de Crudités (plate of mixed salads) veg
- Assiette de Charcuterie (plate of mixed hams, saucisson and paté)
Plat de Jour
- Blanquette de Veau (Veal stew in a rich veloute sauce)
- Entrecôte de boef (Entrecote of Steak)
- Confit de Canard (Confit of Duck)
- Spaghetti avec Carbonara de Champignons (Mushroom Carbonara) veg
Fromage ou Salade Verte (Cheese or Green Salad)
Dessert
- Tarte de Pommes (Apple Tart)
- Glaces (Ice Creams)

We also have more complex menus and 'a la Carte' in season.
Children can be catered for.
Food can be served in the restaurant all year, in the conservatory or by the river in summer.
